Ravenistic is an Australian independent pop/rock artist with deep roots in the bold, hook-driven sounds of the ’80s and ’90s rock scene. Inspired by icons like Debbie Harry, Joan Jett, Kim Wilde, and Cyndi Lauper, with hints of the dreamy synth of Cocteau Twins and the edgy pop of Transvision Vamp, she crafts vibrant songs built on catchy melodies, crunchy guitars, and subtle synth textures.

Growing up in the suburbs of Sydney, Ravenistic’s lifelong love of music began when she received her first acoustic guitar as a Christmas gift at age ten. She quickly gravitated toward performing, singing in her school choir and later joining the school band, appearing at district concerts and local shopping centres.

After finishing school, her passion for live performance led her to form a rock band. Beginning on keyboards before switching to bass guitar, she found her place on stage while immersing herself deeper in the music industry. Along the way, she worked in a record store, later moving into sales roles at a record company and eventually at the Sydney head office of Paramount Pictures Australia.

Though she later stepped back from public performance, her creativity never slowed. She continued playing piano and guitar while quietly writing dozens of songs shaped by her deep connection to upbeat pop and rock sounds of the ’80s and ’90s. Expanding her creative world further, she also wrote fiction novels and composed tension-driven music for film and television.

Now fully embracing her identity as a solo artist, Ravenistic draws on decades of experience to create music that explores the complexities of relationships, the highs and lows of love, and the journey of personal growth. Her debut solo album, Trendy, showcases catchy melodies, subtle synths, crunchy guitars, and upbeat tempos that blend retro influences with modern production.

Following this release, she returned with the Cocktail Hour EP, a four-track collection of ’80s and ’90s-inspired pop/rock songs designed to keep listeners engaged while she continues writing and recording new material for the follow-up to Trendy. With a growing catalogue of original music, Ravenistic continues crafting nostalgic yet contemporary pop/rock that celebrates individuality, resilience, and unapologetic self-expression.
